What’s your college experience?

What have you done outside of working at REDLEE/SCS?

I was a Sales Manager with Cobb Carpet Supply in Dallas, TX and a District Manager Trainee with Aramark Uniform Division.

What’s your career within REDLEE/SCS been like?

I started as a Project Manager for Spectrum Center in Addison, TX in 1991.  I was promoted to Area Manager for the Dallas market in 1992, and then moved to Atlanta, GA to become the District Operations Manager in 1995.  I moved back to Dallas in 1997 and became the Regional Operations Manager in 1999.  In 2000, I was promoted to the Regional Vice President for Dallas and South Texas.  And then in 2003, my family and I moved to Charlotte, NC where I took over as the Regional Vice President for the Eastern Region.  And in July 2013 I took over my current position as the Eastern Division President.

What do you enjoy most about working at REDLEE/SCS?

I have been working for REDLEE for 21 of the almost 23 years that I have been in the work force.   I even stepped away for a couple years and pursued other opportunities, only to find myself missing the industry, the company, our employees, diverse suppliers  and the clients that have made my time at REDLEE so enjoyable.    REDLEE has always given me the latitude to run my portfolio as if it were my own business.   I love the diverse cultures of our workforce and have been able to see our teams achieve success beyond their wildest dreams.   We have experienced life together and through incentive opportunities I have traveled and enjoyed numerous adventures across several continents.  We have a great team and since we are not a 9-5 business, we spend an enormous amount of time working toward meeting service delivery for our clients allowing our employees to bond when facing challenges or opportunities.

And if you weren’t already blissfully happy being a janitor, what is your dream job?

I’ve always been an avid fisherman and since I was little I always wanted to be a fishing guide.
